Little Jacob

Nice summer evening , walls are newly painted . the paint fumes are irritating the  huge crowd all in union booing little kid batting in the pitch . Mrs nora opens her window putting on her glasses and realization hit her at that very moment . Her son asks " why are people , shouting " . Mrs nora says " little Jacob is in strike " . She doesn't have any superpowers but from the booing she can tell from half km  from stadium telling it is a monogamy . A women in late 30 s  coughing , sneezing have  tears in her eyes , is the only one cheering .

                            Little boy is shaking but Jacobe has put on a brave heart and face today . Gale is about to pitch the ball no amount of frustration is in his face as if he knows the future the destiny of the ball . People are clearing the stadium . Jacob's mom can be seen folding her hand resting her mouth fear about what now will happen after this she afraid he might give up . "" thudd"" there is a sudden noise unexpected look in   gale's face ball is up in the air , Jacob is running . the stadium was like if the mighty god has pushed the pause button every body was still . His Mom stands up cheering jackob following the crowd . Ball can be seen with a bit of red in it filled with anger and despair of the earlier failures . After a  home run , ball out of the stadium and many surprised people booing or leaving assuming the game was over jacob's team won the game . The team is coming cheering in moments jacob is in the shoulders being held like a hero Jacob is searching for family he sees his mom all happy and flattered he is laughing and is happy but his eyes are sad . Little boy has a hole in his life . His Dad is not the same earlier living with them . He comes over sometimes but he is not the same , mom is not happy around him & it kills him . Dad say no to the baseball practice now but he was the one who persuaded him . His is not even there cheering or for any moments . Everything is going on like a flash back his mom and dad fighting and dad moving out . 

      Then jacob comes to ground with tiny tear and big dad shaped hole in his life . Coach says " ice cream for everybody  and lil Jacob is getting a big one " . jacob is holding one hand of mother and holding ice-cream  come on the other walking home with mother and her friend licking the ice cream tasting the tingle of life both happiness and sorrow at the same time .
